Paramedicine Certificate 1-Year Plan

EMS 262 is an 11 month program that prepares the student for industry certification exam (NREMT) as a Paramedic. It is offered once per year, beginning in August.
Prerequisites for EMS 262:
- EMT Certification
- Current BLS Provider Level CPR Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Verification that a student has proficiency in reading at the 9th grade level. Multiple measures are employed to verify this requirement
- Vaccinations as required by clinical internship site(s)
