ART 130 - Introduction to Computer Graphics
Credits: 3
Lecture: One Lecture.
Lab: Five Lab.
An introductory course in two-dimensional digital design and illustration using industry standard software.
Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- use graphic design and illustration software to create original artwork;
- output their artwork to a variety of vector and raster file formats;
- demonstrate the application of design principles in their projects;
- demonstrate basic principles of page layout and composition;
- demonstrate basic principles of typography.
Grading Option: May be taken for S/U credit.
