Arithmetic concepts with integers, fractions, and decimals, including signed numbers. Solving linear equations and evaluating algebraic expressions.
Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and exponentiation on real numbers;
- use order of operations with real numbers;
- simplify and evaluate algebraic expressions;
- solve linear equations and check solutions;
- and solve application problems.
