MAT 097C - Intermediate Algebra Corequisite

Lecture: Two lecture.
Algebra skills needed to be successful in MAT 097. This course is a corequisite course for MAT 097 for students who place below MAT 097 using CCC’s multiple measures.
Course Outcomes:
Students will be able to:
- simplify and evaluate algebraic expressions;
- solve linear equations and inequalities;
- use interval notation to describe solutions of inequalities;
- graph linear equations in two dimensions;
- apply the rules of exponents;
- multiply polynomial expressions;
- factor polynomials using various methods.
