MAT 140 - College Math with Algebra Review Credits: 5 OR higher level AGEC math course
BIO 201 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I Credits: 4

Other requirements:
- AZ CNA or LNA License
- Nursing Entrance Exam

- Application and acceptance in the nursing program

Program Outcomes

Students will be able to:

prioritize care for multiple patients,
demonstrate technical skills required of a registered nurse,
incorporate current evidence into clinical practice,
demonstrate patient, self, and environmental safety,
demonstrate professional, ethical, and legal behaviors of a registered nurse,
utilize the nursing process effectively to provide client-centered care,
integrate healthcare technology into clinical practice, and
function effectively within nursing and interprofessional teams.
