Designed to prepare students for computer technology positions in the IT field. The program introduces students to a variety of topics including computer basics, programming, databases, networking, security, and modern operating system administration. Students can also choose a focus area by selecting a variety of elective courses to expand their knowledge in cybersecurity, cloud computing, servers, programming, or a specific hands-on learning experience through an internship. Many courses in the program align directly with industry-standard certifications.

Program Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: - use appropriate technological terminology for specific audiences.
- apply technical computing skills within a specialized field of Information Technology.
- be prepared to take industry certification exams.
- apply fundamental principles and practices in computer programming.

All General Education coursework must be selected from the approved Arizona General Education Curriculum. Written and Oral Communication: Composition (6)
Quantitative Reasoning (3-5)
Arts and Humanities (3) Recommended: HUM 205 - Technology and Human Values Social and Behavioral Sciences (3)
Degree Core Requirements: 32 credits
Degree Elective Requirements: 12-16 credits
