Environmental Technology: Alternative Energy Advanced Certificate

The Advanced certificate improves the student’s expertise and knowledge in construction from an economic perspective. This certificate advances electrical skills with particular applications in Photovoltaic and wind power electrical generation, and blueprint reading and drafting skills are developed.

Program Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, students wil:

1. Develop an understanding of hazard recognition and avoidance.

2. Demonstrate basic knowledge of general construction processes

3. Demonstrate the ability to interrupt a set of blue prints

4. Apply fundamental knowledge of solar heating, photovoltaic systems, and wind power.
