Coconino Community College’s Institutional Learning Outcomes (ILOs) are statements of what students will learn as a result of their coursework, co-curricular activities, and other experiences at CCC. Those who complete a CCC degree or certificate, including those who complete the Arizona General Education Curriculum (AGEC) at CCC, will learn the following:
Critical & Creative Thinking: Students will use a variety of inquiry methods, resources, and reasoning skills to think critically and creatively.
Communication Skills: Through various modes of expression, students will be able to express and exchange ideas to increase knowledge and foster understanding.
Diversity and Global Awareness: Students will gain an understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures, values, beliefs, and historical perspectives to promote appropriate interaction in a variety of cultural and societal contexts.
Ethical and Civic Values: Students will demonstrate a better understanding of themselves and others to clarify individual and societal responsibilities, needs, and values.
Core Skills: Students will become more adaptable and seek new information to solve problems. They will make academic, major life, and career choices based on an assessment of their interests, values, skills, and abilities. They will acquire the employability skills necessary to be effective in their career.
