FIT 103 - Cardio-Fitness Workout Credits: 1 Lab/Lecture: One lecture.
An intense cardio-vascular workout that combines aerobic exercise, free-weights, Strength training and nutrition. Course Outcomes: Students will be able to:
- evaluate personal fitness level with pre and post course testing;
- demonstrate improved cardiovascular fitness, local muscular strength, and endurance;
- demonstrate the ability to adhere to an exercise program;
- demonstrate their knowledge of good nutrition and wellness practices;
- establish realistic fitness and wellness goals;
- construct a plan for lifelong fitness and wellness.
Grading Option: May be taken for S/U credit.
