STUDENT TECHNOLOGY

Comet ID and Password

All CCC students receive a Comet ID to access various CCC online resources and computers on campus. The Comet ID is 5 characters, starting with your initials (example: AB123).  Comet ID passwords can be updated and reset using the myCCC student portal.

Computers and Internet Use

Student computer labs are located at the Lone Tree and Fourth Street campuses in Flagstaff as well as at the Page campus.

Key services

  • Access to the internet and a wide array of software
  • General assistance with technology
  • Laser printers, image scanners, and more

Lab computers are accessible exclusively to registered students who are actively attending a class. All students are required to adhere to Coconino Community College’s computer usage policy.

myCCC Student Portal

myCCC is a web portal where students can access a variety of tools to manage their student experience at Coconino Community College. Students will be able to connect to Canvas, Self Service Banner, and Gmail (Student Email) using a single sign-on with their Comet ID and password.

Online Student Information

To access your online student information, go to our Student Portal and sign in with your Comet ID and password. Once logged in, you will see options for Registration, Financial Aid, and more in the Quick Launch Menu.

Additional Help

If you need any additional assistance with any of these services, contact the CCC ITS Help Desk at (928) 226-4357, or its.helpdesk@coconino.edu.

LIBRARY SERVICES

CCC Library Services supports students in three main ways: an online library with millions of resources, in-person access to NAU’s Cline Library, and research help from the CCC Librarian.

The CCC Librarian, located at the Lone Tree campus, is happy to answer questions about finding, evaluating and using information. Make an appointment on the Library website or call (928) 226-4369. Here are some of the library services you can use:

  • Access online databases and eBooks using your Comet ID and password from any internet-connected device.
  • Request or check out materials through Cline Library, including books, media, and articles from other libraries worldwide.
  • Get late-night access, use study rooms, and use the Ask a Librarian chat service at Cline Library.
  • Review the Research Guides on the CCC library web page to learn more about citation styles and research for courses.
  • Meet with the CCC Librarian for customized research assistance.

Using the library saves you time: our resources connect you directly to reliable information, from magazine articles to peer-reviewed journals. The CCC online library has tools to help you easily cite and organize trusted sources, find and narrow a research topic, and much more.

Although CCC does not have a physical library, we do have a librarian who can help with all of these resources. Additionally, CCC students have access to Northern Arizona University’s Cline Library, as well as other state and community libraries:

  • Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library
  • Page Public Library
  • Williams Public Library
  • Grand Canyon Community Library
  • Arizona State Library - Online Databases
